It was a meet cute until it wasn't. Search On The Street! What have you been searching? I needed a disguise. So I searched 'big hats'. I need you to tell me everything. It all started when a new neighbor who had just moved in got my package by accident and he brought it back to my apartment. He saw my cat and he said, "Oh, I'll pet sit anytime." Months after, I slid a note under my neighbor's door with my number on it. I get a text saying that it was him and that he was taking you up on your offer. To cat-sit or to hang out? I should have asked. I played it safe and brought up the cat. Then we just kept texting for like, months. But never meeting up? No, but we did talk about me giving him the keys to my apartment. During this whole thing, I forgot what he looked like. Eventually, when you're texting your neighbor for a few months, you do run into them. Okay?! Even after it fizzles out. And why did you need the big hat? So that I could say that it wasn't me. I'd like to believe that I'm mysterious in my big hat. It lets me go in and out of my building in peace, knowing that I can always feign that that was just another girl in a big hat. And now you wear a big hat every time you enter or leave your apartment. Yeah, I wear like a big safari hat. And what if I run into him? This is not Marty or Janvi. It's not me.
