Why it worked

The video leverages a high-profile celebrity athlete in a relatable, low-stakes trivia format that naturally integrates the product's search and AI capabilities as the primary tool for solving the challenges.

Summary

NFL wide receiver Justin Jefferson participates in a trivia challenge hosted by Google Search, using the app's features to answer questions about football and Norse mythology. He successfully answers the questions and is rewarded with a confetti celebration.

Structure

1Justin Jefferson introduces the challenge
2Jefferson uses Google Search to draw a route
3Jefferson answers a trivia question about his own celebration
4Jefferson answers a trivia question about Norse mythology
5Jefferson celebrates his win with confetti

Product placement

Google Search: (a) ACTS — the interface is operated by the creator to answer questions and draw routes, and it provides the information that confirms the answers. Removing it would change the entire premise of the video.
