Flat stomach in the morning… pressure belly by night? 👀 Yes, food volume can absolutely change how your belly looks. But your midsection is NOT just a container holding food. Your core is a 360° PRESSURE SYSTEM. 🎈 Every time you breathe, pressure is created inside your trunk. The question is: where is that pressure going? If every inhale pushes straight forward into your abdomen, you may repeatedly direct pressure into an abdominal wall that’s already struggling to manage it. That can make it harder to: ✨ Rebuild your core ✨ Improve a “mommy pooch” ✨ Support diastasis recovery ✨ Stop constantly sucking in your stomach Instead, think of your breath like an umbrella ☂️ INHALE: Open 360° → Front → Sides → Back → Down into the pelvic floor EXHALE: Close the umbrella → Ribs move inward → Deep abs respond from the bottom up → Pelvic floor + core coordinate pressure together In these exercises, the ball and foam roller help direct my breath into areas of the rib cage and back body that often become stiff and stuck. The goal isn’t to force your belly flat. The goal is to teach your entire core canister to expand and recoil together so pressure can be distributed more efficiently—not pushed forward with every breath. Because how you breathe affects: 🫁 How your diaphragm functions 🩻 How your rib cage moves 🔥 How your deep abs engage 🌸 How your pelvic floor responds 💪 And even how your midsection looks by the end of the day Your core isn’t just abs. It’s a pressure-management system. #CoreTraining #DiastasisRecti #RibCageMobility #s#shadowstrending
