if you have the Amex Gold card, you may be sitting on some brand new benefits that may not exist. This year was the 60th anniversary celebrate this card and Amex gave us new perks without changing the annual fee. One of those new perks is worth almost $100. But it is time sensitive, so listen up. The first one is you now earn five points per dollar on hotels booked through the Amex Travel portal. The second is you get complimentary Five Star status with Hertz. They've also expanded the $120 dining credit to include new dining partners. And finally, they've added an Uber One membership credit, which is worth $96 back, one time, when you purchase an annual Uber One membership. This expires 10/30/26. You have to activate it by October 30th. All of these changes are very, very good news for Amex Gold card holders because they just add more value to your card while the annual fee stays the exact same.
