AMEX GOLD CARD

It's the American Express Gold Card and its benefits. It's something you will never hear me say. From day one of opening this card, you get $420 in credits, so let's go through each one of them. First of all, you get $120 of Uber cash a year, which is $10 per month. And then you also get $120 dining credit a year, which is $10 a month, and that can be used on Grubhub, Buffalo Wild Wings, Five Guys, Cheesecake Factory and more. So if you don't like any of those restaurants, you can easily just go to Grubhub and almost choose whatever you want. The third credit you get is $100 resy, you get $50 for the first six months of the year and $50 for the second half of the year. And then you get $84 Dunkin' Donuts every single year, which is $7 a month. And that is the credit you can stack up. You also get Hertz Five Star status and more. The point multipliers are pretty good too. You get one times on everything, you get two times on car rentals and cruises through Amex Travel. You get three times on flights with Amex Travel. You get five times on prepaid hotels through Amex Travel. And then you get four times on groceries and dining, which is the best perk about this card because the average American spends $10,169 through restaurants and groceries a year. That's 40,676 Amex points. 40,676 Amex points is $407 at 1 cent per point. But you can be getting way more than one cent per point if you're using your points on American Express or any other points credit card. You can easily be getting two to five cents per point. So that could easily be $600 to $800+ in airline, hotel, and any travel that you want. So that's the best way to use points on American Express or any other points credit card.
