My name is Braden. I actually make videos about books and I was seeing if you had a couple minutes to answer a couple quick questions for me. Okay, yeah. Hey, appreciate it. Do you have like a favorite book in mind or maybe your favorite book of the year? Running Close to the Wind by Alexandra Roland. It's a bit of a silly book but uh it has a lot of heart. It's about pirates, a monk and an ex spy and they, it's the beginning story of them kind of changing the world they live in. I love it. I really enjoyed it. It made me laugh a lot. What was the book that maybe got you into reading? If you can think of it. What actually got me back into reading after a huge dry spell was uh House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune. Kind of a modern magical setting and it's about a man who reviews magical orphanages for young children who are like from werewolves to witches to like gnomes and all these things and he finds a very special orphanage and the man who runs it and kind of becomes part of the family there. I'm a fluffy light reader. I don't read too many dramatic things. Is there an author that maybe sticks out where you discovered them recently? Big one right now that I still need to look into is Matt Dinniman. He does the Dungeon Crawler Carl series.
