The one thing I will say is, spend your money in your 20s, because I am in my 30s and I don't want to do any of those things anymore. I don't want to go to a festival, I don't want to go on a night out, I don't want to get a taxi home at like 3:00 AM and be hungover for five days. I don't really want to travel. Like, I used to love travelling, that was what I spent all of my money on in my 20s, but like, I don't have jet lag. I don't want to get a taxi home at 3:00 AM. I don't want to like travel with my kids because that's no fun. And I don't want to like travel without them because I don't want to be away from them for like days or weeks. Last thing that I had that like cost a lot of money and brought me a lot of joy was like fancy meals and like Michelin star restaurants. In the past year, I've kind of stopped wanting to do that as well because I feel so awful after like an eight course tasting menu plus wine that I don't sleep for a whole night and then that also takes me days to recover from as well. Like, I'm so overindulged. So, yeah, enjoy it in your 20s because you probably won't want to do that in your 30s and maybe in my 50s when my kids are grown up and I don't have any responsibilities anymore, I might be willing to sacrifice like a week of my life for, like, a weekend away or like a Michelin star restaurant or whatever. Maybe, certainly not now. Give me a hike and really nice coffee. I am delighted.
