I do believe this Bill's next hurdle is the biggest hurdle it faces in its journey. Which is to say, if it gets off of this floor and moves to the governor's office, I'm sure there will be a lot of contemplation there. My generation views work as a noun, a place that you go, but the next generation of workers often view work as a verb, something that you do regardless of where you are. I rise today in respectful opposition to this bill. To change the presumption about our work that in the state of California, 200,000 people, it's the intent of the legislature to encourage telework. And and that in order for departments to state agencies to actually have people working in the office, they have to justify that because it's no longer the default. This is a very big decision we're making here in the legislature. Senator Ash moves a call.
