When chic meets camping 🫦 Everything I made for dinner camping. Started myself off with some red wine while I cooked. Of course. Because my boyfriend loves camping and I don't. This is how I make it fun for myself. I'm making it extremely hard and complicated, but yummy. First up, Caesar salad with ground up croutons into this like crumbs. You get a little crunch in every bite. Some grilled and blistered shishito peppers. I definitely said that wrong, but these were so delicious. And then obviously topped it with some lime and salt to dip. In a burnt scallion ranch that I also pre-made before. For the main, we had some grilled steaks that I marinated in some dry rub for a few hours. And these were so good. Like this filet was insane. Because I don't stop there. I pre-made a spicy vodka pasta with San Marzano tomato. And all the good stuff in there. It was divine. This is how you camp if you ask me. And for the night cap, we had an extra dirty martini. And some whipped mascarpone cream with a cherry compote that is my favorite.
