You're gonna eat your way through ceviche, you're gonna eat your way through Cuy, you're gonna eat your way through Antichuchos. You're gonna drink your body weight in pisco sour, okay? You're also gonna have picarones, thank me later. September usually starts the sunny month, so I would think September to really about like, March is gonna be the best time to go to Peru, since they're in the southern hemisphere, that's really gonna be their summer. After that, you're gonna go to Cuzco. You're gonna set aside around a thousand to fifteen hundred dollars to do Machu Picchu. It's somebody, it's something I wish somebody had let me know before that it was gonna be that expensive. You're also going to take altitude pills. Altitude of Cuzco absolutely does sneak up on people. You're gonna support your local economy by buying a llama sweater, and you're gonna wear that to your Machu Picchu hike, okay? You're also going to hit Rainbow Mountain while you're in Peru as well. No. 2 is going to be Mexico. A lot of people don't know, one of the largest expat community for black people in the world is actually in Merida, Mexico, which is just outside of Cancun. I don't really like Cancun and Tulum, so I can't really recommend that in good faith. But something I definitely can recommend is going to be Mexico City. To this day, say it's the most slept on city, probably in the world, and it's my favorite city I've ever been to. There's a ton of really incredible fine dining. There's a ton of really great like mezcal bars and different mezcal tours that you can do. It's an incredibly walkable city, and their nightlife is absolutely amazing. There's a huge like Afro Latino population there, and they just absolutely love black people. You're gonna wanna stay in Roma Norte. It's kind of basic, but it's safe and it's easy. And um, also when you're in Mexico, please make an attempt to learn some sort of like basic Spanish. It just really goes a long way. Lastly, your only real mission want in Mexico is really just to eat your body weight in tacos. For real.
