Transcript

Southwest is having a flash sale with up to 40% off bookings in either cash or points. This is for three days only and I am seeing Hawaii and Mexico on this list of destinations. Don't forget Southwest is currently going through its midlife crisis, so this is definitely their version of buying a Corvette and driving with the top down. The promo code you need to unlock the sale is Love Fall. You have to make the booking by August 7th and this between August 25th of this year and January 26th of next year. I highly recommend searching from a desktop because this allows you to use their low fare calendar. So if I'm looking for a trip to Puerto Vallarta, I can see exactly in a given month that discounted. So if I'm looking month of September, the 10th to the 16th like the best pairing because they're each $100 off. And if you prefer to pay in points, toggle the switch at the top. You can see that the points prices are actually even better. And for comparison, the same dates on Delta with the lowest fare coming in around for a round trip and going up to around $900. So this is actually a pretty good deal. Let me know the best deals you're finding in the comments and then follow travel daddy Dave.
