Original caption

One of my favorite healthy habits: soaking my chia seeds for the week. I use 1/2 cup chia seeds + 3 cups water, then shake it really well so the seeds don’t clump together. Once they’re soaked, the chia seeds form that gel-like texture, making them easier to add into your meals and giving you an easy source of fiber. I keep them in the fridge and add them to smoothies, yogurt, oatmeal, chia pudding, or whatever I’m making that day. It’s such a small thing, but having them ready to go makes getting more fiber into my day SO much easier. If you prep chia seeds, shake them vigorously before they have a chance to clump! #chiaseeds #soakedchiaseeds #fiber #guthealth #midlifewellness
