I used to eat my chia seeds dry, and my stomach did NOT love it. So now I prep them once a week and keep them ready to go in the fridge. Here’s my super simple chia seed prep: ½ cup chia seeds 2½–3 cups water Add to an airtight container (I prefer glass and a leak proof lid if I’m going to shake it) Shake well or mix really well with a fork. Let rest 5 min in between shakes. Will last in the fridge for 5–7 days. Now I have soaked chia seeds ready to add to basically anything: smoothies, protein bowls, yogurt bowls, cottage cheese bowls, scrambled eggs, drinks…whatever I’m eating! And yes, you can soak them overnight or add them directly to food. This is just what works best for my stomach and makes it SO easy to get more fiber into my day. If you’ve never tried prepping your chia seeds for the week, this is your sign. #chiaseeds #chiaseedpudding #highfiber #sundayprep #healthyeating
