Millennials, while we were all busy talking about the MySpace comeback… somehow VINE came back too. Okay, technically it’s not Vine. It’s called Divine. But the whole thing feels like someone looked at what made Vine great and said, “Yeah, let’s just do that again.” Six-second videos. They loop. No endless 3-minute storytimes. And apparently more than TWO MILLION original Vines have been brought back. But maybe the most interesting part: the creators say AI-generated videos won’t be allowed. Which honestly feels like a very 2026 way of bringing Vine back. While every other platform is trying to figure out how much AI content they can shove into your feed, Divine is basically saying: humans only. I have no idea if Divine will actually become the next Vine. A huge part of what made Vine special wasn’t just the six-second limit. It was the people, the weirdness, the creativity, the inside jokes, and the fact that nobody really knew what they were doing yet. You can recreate the format. Recreating the culture is a lot harder. But bringing back millions of the original Vines is a pretty good way to get millennials to at least download it and see what’s going on. So… who’s already tried Divine? And more importantly: does it actually feel anything like Vine? #millennials #vine #divine #nostalgia #90skid
