If someone announces a pregnancy and your first reaction is to be like, wow, I just wish I could be excited for you, but unfortunately, the world is just so terrible, I can't believe you're bringing someone else into it. Like, what do you gain from saying this? Do you really think that a woman who is just excitedly told you that she's pregnant and trying to start her family is going to be like, oh, why? That actually makes me feel better because I really hope that you're not a parent. Anyway, congrats to you for choosing not to have kids. Nobody cares. Please do not rain on someone's parade when they tell you they're pregnant. What is wrong with you? That's a major life milestone. And I think a lot of you are chronically online and you forget how big of a deal that is for some couples and some families and it should be a big deal. It's a baby. I don't understand. And I always get grouped in with like the trad wives and the weirdos when I say this, and I make content surrounding this, and I don't know why. This is a very normal opinion to have.
