WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE In 2011, O'Neill took part in Operation Neptune Spear, the raid that killed Usama bin Laden, mastermind of the 9/11 attacks. O'Neill is credited with taking the fatal shot that killed bin Laden. "I joined because I thought it was cool, re-enlisted because of the guys, re-enlisted because of 9/11, go to SEAL Team Six." -Rob O'Neill 25 years later, O'Neill remembers the unity that followed 9/11. He recalls lawmakers from both parties standing together on the Capitol steps singing "God Bless America." He wishes Americans could recapture the spirit of unity that followed.
