In-N-Out burger has just made shocking changes to all locations. Yellow dye 5 has been replaced with turmeric. Red 40 also replaced with beta carotene and vegetable juice. High fructose corn syrup in their ketchup has been replaced with real sugar. Cottonseed oil completely removed from their buns. Calcium propionate, which stops the growth of bad bacteria and yeast, replaced with natural enzymes that do the same. And artificial vanilla replaced with real vanilla. In-N-Out is still far from perfect, but it's great that In-N-Out is paving the way for healthier fast food. You can find clean fast food places doing this like Steak 'n Shake with their 100% grass-fed meat and Sweetgreen with no artificial anything.
