Our fruits grown outside of the US different than fruits grown inside the US. And why do I say that? Because a viral video coming out of Russia shows exactly how strawberries look there when they're cut in half versus how they are in the US. Take a look at the video for yourself. This is how strawberry looks in Russia. Look at that. Wait to see how they look like inside. Look at that. Look at the color. Look at the inside. That's what it looks like. And for comparison purposes, these are organic strawberries from Costco. And this is what they look like when they're cut over. Do you notice the white circle on the inside? Now have a look at the Russian strawberry. There is no white circle. And one major reason for this. Our strawberries here in the US are picked much quicker and prior to them even being ripe. And our strawberries are even being bred to lose their color and flavor in exchange for shelf life. So I guess my question to you is, should we take a page out of Russia's book and should our strawberries look like this rather than this? Let me know your thoughts on this in the comments. And as always, I'd love to hear from you.
