[ NEWS ] THE STORY BRIDGE AND KANGAROO POINT BRIDGE ARE SHINING YELLOW TONIGHT FOR VICTIMS OF CRIME AND THEIR FAMILIES Today is National Victims of Crime Day, and Brisbane is marking it by lighting two of its bridges in yellow. Behind every crime is a person and a family whose life has been changed forever, often long after the headlines move on. Tonight’s glow is a reminder that this city sees them, and that nobody should have to carry it alone. WHERE TO SEE THE YELLOW 💛 The bridges: the Story Bridge and Kangaroo Point Bridge are both lighting up yellow tonight. 🌉 The view: the river is the best place to take it in, with both bridges reflecting across the water. 🕯️ The meaning: every light is for victims of crime and the families who stand beside them.
