Original caption

Netflix is on one as they turn psychology’s most controversial experiment into a reality show. 👀 The New Stanford Prison Experiment is dropping 21 October 2026, and we’ll be able to watch another real-life version of the experiment, where 30 ordinary volunteers enter a real prison and are randomly assigned to play either guards or prisoners. The experiment is supposed to explore how real people handle power and authority when it’s handed to them, but real ones know that the original 1971 Stanford Prison Experiment had to be stopped after just six days because the participants assigned as guards began physically and mentally mistreating the prisoners. Will the six-parter just be history repeating itself? #Netflix #StanfordPrisonExperiment #RealityTV #TrueCrime #Psychology
