Wedding guests in Birmingham were forced to flee after petrol bombs were thrown at a venue with luxury cars also targeted. Five firebombs were reportedly thrown outside the Royal Shalimar hotel in Sparkbrook at around 8:30pm on Wednesday, as hundreds of people attended a wedding. Three were thrown towards guests, while two others were aimed at parked supercars, believed to include a Lamborghini and a McLaren. CCTV appears to show three men in black carrying out the attack before escaping in a white Volkswagen Golf. Staff managed to extinguish the flames before emergency services arrived, and West Midlands Police said no one was injured.
