Original caption

It’s difficult to debate a lie. The SABC Mayoral Candidate debate was a disservice to the voters because current Mayor misrepresented his record on affordable housing delivery & blatantly lied about what we did in 2017. It is regrettable that we got no further than a to-and-fro about what happened in 2017 instead of realizing that we’re still debating 2017, even though we debated in in the 2021 election cycle, while Geordin Hill-Lewis has been Mayor for 5 years and nothing has been developed on any of these sites yet. He has failed to deliver social housing in the inner city, and surrounds, but claimed he had. The receipts. #Debate #Housing #Affordable #CapeTown #FYP
