Chronic illness larpers. The most annoying part of having Ehlers-Danlos is actually not that I dislocate my rib from coughing like once a year. It's that I can't really get on here and talk about it because there are so many people on TikTok specifically on this platform specifically that are larping having it. It's totally not real. They do not have it, okay? Um, and they use it to like, donation farm and go fund me and basically set up on here all day and be like, guys, like, I need, I need this help, I need whatever. Oftentimes the mobility aids that they use in videos, they are using completely wrong because they were not given to them by medical professionals and they do not actually need them. Like they are literally not using a cane in the proper way. It's like they might as well just toss it to the side and walk by themselves because the cane is supporting no weight. And a lot of these videos I see and people in the comments called them out and they're like, hey, you don't even seem to be using the right way. Like, did you even get a diagnosis? Because as somebody who's donated like, I'm honestly starting to doubt it. And the person will respond and they'll be like, you're so fucking privileged. Like, God, not everybody can afford a diagnosis. Like, here we go. So if you've ever heard me mention it, which I think I've only mentioned it maybe three times, and you're wondering like why I don't talk about it a lot, that's why. I refuse to be lumped in with these individuals who are like scam artists basically. And people in the comments called them out and they're like, hey, you don't even seem to be using the right way. Like, did you even get a diagnosis? Because as somebody who's donated like, I'm honestly starting to doubt it. And the person will respond and they'll be like, you're so fucking privileged.
