I saw this and honestly had to laugh because the political logic is WILD. 🤣 The guy is essentially arguing that Asian people could be used as a kind of “Pikachus” against other minority groups and “ghetto culture.” But this raises a bigger question: when you’re forming such alliances around race, immigration or culture, do the people you’re kissing up to actually share your long-term interests? Different minority communities can have very different histories, experiences and political priorities. And assuming that another group automatically sees you as an ally simply because you share an opponent can be a serious miscalculation. You don’t have to hate another community to recognise when an alliance deserves scrutiny. Think independently. Do your research.
