Part 32: For a minute, I really thought we were entering our healthy co-parenting era. We had finally worked out our custody arrangement in mediation, Jack agreed that we should sign our son up for soccer, and I thought, “Okay… maybe we can actually do this.” Except this is pretty much the perfect example of what co-parenting with Jack looks like. He agrees to the activity. I do the sign-up, the schedule, the practices, the games, the communication… and then somehow we still end up here. In this part, I’m also breaking down what we ultimately agreed to in our mediated settlement agreement for custody and what our new normal with the kids was supposed to look like.
