Why it worked

The video leverages the excitement of a 'first-ever' event and the appeal of exclusive discounts and free shipping to drive viewership to a shoppable TikTok LIVE, creating a sense of urgency and FOMO (fear of missing out).

Summary

Boots is announcing its first ever shoppable TikTok LIVE event on September 28th at 12 PM. During this event, viewers can purchase discounted No7 products and receive free shipping.

Structure

1Announcement of Boots' first TikTok Shop LIVE
2Explanation of the event: shopping own-brand products at discounts
3Details on timing: Monday the 28th at 12 PM
4Incentive: free shipping
5Call to action: tune into the live

Product placement

Boots: ACTS - it is the retailer hosting the TikTok Shop LIVE event and offering discounts on its own brand products. Removing it would change what happens in the video. No7: ACTS - it is a brand whose products are being offered at discounted prices during the TikTok Shop LIVE event. Removing it would change what happens in the video.
