5 weird things I do since going from 190lbs to 145lbs: 1. Rotate through the same ~10-15 food sources. I keep my meals simple. Chicken, rice, sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts, Greek yogurt, fruit, beef, salmon, etc.. whole foods, high protein. Mix and match all week long. 2. I do the same workouts for weeks at a time. Yes, my goal has been to lose fat but I also want to build muscle on top of that. My workouts are intentional for muscle growth, focusing on progressive overload training. 3. Walk, a lot. Any chance I get. This includes parking further away, taking the stairs, running around with the girls, walking my dog, etc. Increasing my overall daily movement has helped tremendously. 4. Eat the same breakfast and lunch every day. Takes the mental load away and I know it’s fueling my body and supporting my fitness goals. 5. RARELY do intense cardio. My daily movement is my cardio most of the time. I aim for 10k steps a day. Low impact and an underrated fat loss tool.
