is trader joes ‘disgusting’?? 😯 this is a common talking point on the holistic wellness internet that I have alway found odd, elitist, and simply incorrect. 🤗for $3.30 per serving I made an organic meal of whole foods that was so delicious and nourishing! like any store, there are healthy and unhealthy options. I love shopping at farmers markets and local coops. but that can be really pricey or simple inaccesible. are infuencers forgetting that not everyone shops at whole foods and erewhon? I am so tired of the wellness world preying on insecurities and fear to sell get engagement and sell PDF guides. why must we focus on the negatives? I find it so much more helpful to show people how they can make nutritious meals with whatever is accesible to them. (but that’s not fun and clickbaity!! 😔) so here is a nutritious recipe using all ingredients I found at trader joes. hope you enjoy! - 1 lb grass-fed ground beef - 1 can great northern beans - 1/2 tsp sea salt - 1 tsp curry powder - 1/3 cup coconut milk - 1/3 cup water - 1 cup frozen peas 1️⃣Steam the sweet potato. Cook on high pressure in an instant pot for 11 minutes and natural release for 10 or steam in a pot until fork tender, about 30-40 minutes. 2️⃣Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and use a spoon to crumble. Cook for 6-8 minutes until it is fully browned. Drain any excess grease. 3️⃣Stir in the beans. Season with sea salt and curry powder and cook for 2-3 more minutes. Stir in the coconut milk and water. Let simmer covered for 8 minutes. 4️⃣Stir in the frozen peas and cook for another 4-5 minutes. Serve over the sweet potato and season with more sea salt as needed. Where do you shop?! Do you need more TJ healthy recipe ideas? #healthyrecipe #highprotein #CityTasteTest #highfiber #traderjoeshaul
