RESTORATION BOWL ✨ With Preconception in Mind What would I cook for someone trying to conceive? Lemon-garlic salmon, jammy eggs, farro, roasted broccoli, edamame, avocado & a silky lemon-Parmesan broth. Every ingredient has a job, and delicious is one of them! SALMON • 4 salmon fillets (560–680g total) • 15ml olive oil, 2 minced garlic cloves • 15ml lemon juice, ½ tsp iodized salt • ½ tsp each pepper & smoked paprika FARRO • 200g dry farro • 720ml low-sodium chicken stock • ⅓ tsp iodized salt BOWL • 4 eggs, 340g broccoli • 150g shelled edamame, 90g spinach • 1 avocado, 20ml olive oil • ⅓ tsp iodized salt + pinch for spinach LEMON-PARMESAN BROTH • 30g butter, divided • 1 minced shallot, 2 minced garlic cloves • 60ml dry white wine • 240ml low-sodium chicken stock • 1 tsp Dijon, 30g grated Parmesan • 15ml lemon juice, black pepper FINISH: Crispy fried shallots, parsley, lemon wedges METHOD 1 Simmer farro in stock with salt until tender, 20–30 min; drain. 2 Roast broccoli with 15ml oil and salt at 220°C/425°F for 18–22 min. 3 Coat salmon with its listed seasonings; roast during broccoli’s last 10–14 min, until cooked through. 4 Lower cold eggs into boiling water for 7 min; ice-bath, peel and halve. Cook edamame per package. 5 Wilt spinach in 5ml oil with a pinch of salt, 1–2 min. 6 Broth: Soften shallot in 15g butter, 2–3 min. Add garlic, 30 sec. Add wine; reduce by half. Add stock + Dijon; simmer 5–7 min. Lower heat, stir in Parmesan. Off heat, whisk in remaining 15g butter, lemon + pepper. 7 Spoon broth into bowls. Add farro, spinach, broccoli, edamame, avocado, salmon and eggs. Finish with more broth, crispy shallots, parsley + lemon. Food can nourish you before pregnancy, but it cannot promise conception. The CDC recommends 400mcg folic acid daily for people who could become pregnant; food doesn't replace that guidance. If pregnant or possibly pregnant, cook salmon to 63°C/145°F and eggs until yolks are firm. Feed her accordingly. ✨ #PreconceptionNutrition #TryingToConceive #SalmonBowl #HealthyRecipes #WickdConfections
