Filthy Cabbage. 🥬🤤 Y’all know I had to try the viral Filthy Cabbage recipe for myself. Recipe: • 12 oz andouille sausage, sliced • 1 lb ground beef • 1 lb spicy Italian sausage • 4 tbsp flour • 2 tbsp tomato paste • Worcestershire sauce • 1 red bell pepper, diced • 1 green bell pepper, diced • 1 yellow onion, diced • 2 tbsp garlic paste • ½ cup beef broth • 1 packet Beefy Onion Soup Mix • Nature’s Seasoning, to taste • Creole seasoning, to taste • 1 head cabbage, cut into strips Instructions: I’ve been making my cabbage this way. I made this for Jesus at the last supper. Did you record it? Let me see it. You just want attention. We are making filthy cabbage which ain’t nothing but dirty spaghetti with cabbage. Alright now. You’re getting out of hand. I made an executive decision and we are starting by browning some andouille sausage. Next we’re adding in both Italian hot sausage and ground beef. Am I late to this trend? Yes. Who cares? I could do whatever I want. Except keep my car clean. My car is really clean right now because I don’t allow no kids in there. Next we’re going to coat our meat with 4 tablespoons of flour. I know y’all are like, why do you do that? Hey, hey, don’t do it. I believe the theory behind it is to make like a quick pan gravy or root of sorts and thicken up the beef broth. Actually, my car is really clean right now because I don’t allow no kids in there. We’re going to add a couple dashes of Worcestershire sauce and let that cook for a couple minutes. Now it’s time to add in our diced bell peppers, onion and garlic. We’re going to let this cook until the vegetables begin to soften. Yes, I said vegetables. That’s how I taught myself to spell it. That’s also why I swear and sometimes, you know, little spelling tricks for yourself when you were a kid? Y’all didn’t have any little spelling tricks for yourself when you were a kid? That’s why you can’t spell. Now it’s time to add our beef broth and beef onion soup mix. Nature’s seasoning and Creole seasoning to taste. Now it’s time for cabbage. I’m gonna tell y’all to add it in batches but I’m not gonna. I don’t feel like it. Who cares? Poop. This is probably stupid. But it’s gonna work out. Everything works out for me. I see you. I see you. It’s beautiful. It smells good. It looks good. It’s thick. Just like you. Yeah. You. I see you. Recipe in Caption. Mmm. I mean, we knew it was gonna be good. It’s the same flavor except it’s cabbage instead of spaghetti.
