A businessman bought a house for £395,000 from Birmingham City Council in 2013, but ended up getting far more than he bargained for. Sukhjit Bains' company purchased a three-bedroom property next to George Dixon Primary School in Birmingham. But a huge paperwork mistake meant the council accidentally transferred ownership of the entire school and its playing fields alongside the house. And nobody noticed for ELEVEN YEARS. The mistake was finally discovered in 2024, and Birmingham City Council has now launched High Court proceedings to correct the ownership records. Would you hand the school straight back? #property #uk #school #invest #investment
