Microsoft finally made Centre Across Selection easily accessible instead of hiding it in the depths of the abyss. So let me show you why it's a way better alternative to Merge & Center. So in this example I have these headers merged and centred. So when I come around here and try and do a formula and select this range, it doesn't work. It auto expands and that's not what I want. Centre Across Selection fixes that. So let me unmerge these headers really quick. Okay, so now if I select it and Centre Across Selection, it looks like it's merged and centred, but it's not. So let me just do it with these headers. Okay, so now if I come down here and try and do my formula, works like a charm. If you don't know me, I'm Shelby. I post about Microsoft products every single day. So if you're forced to use Excel 40 hours a week and wanna hate it just a little bit less, make sure you hit that follow button.
