Welcome to day three of finally reorganizing my garage. If you are new here, my name is Katie and I'm kind of obsessed with all things cleaning and organizing. The fact that there is nothing clean or organized about this garage has been driving me crazy, so we are on day three of giving it a reorganizing and refresh. Today we are focusing on finally cleaning up the middle of the room and finding everything a new home that it belongs in. We are also going to paint the last big wall in this room. We are getting so close to the end of this transformation and I'm so excited. We had a whole bunch of random drinks that needed to go into the drink fridge, so I'm restocking all of those. Now if I had an unlimited budget, I would spend a lot of money and get organization for this fridge. We are working on a budget of under $500 and it's just not in my budget today. Maybe that'll be a future project. Another thing that was a future project is all this wood that my husband has in our garage. So until he figures out what we're going to do with it, we are taking it all off the wall. And who knows if it will actually go back in the garage. But let me tell you, I felt like a strong independent girlie getting it all done by myself. We are going to leave the metal rack on the wall because I don't know if the wood's going to go back up, so I don't want to take that down quite yet. We started working on painting. We're using the same random gallon of paint that I found in my basement. It's an interior and exterior paint. The color is called tricorn black. Opening this paint can today, I was really worried that I wasn't going to have enough for the rest of the room, but spoiler alert, I had just enough. Also, shout out to my friend McKenzie who came over to help me with this project. With her help, we were able to get so much of this project done today. Not only were we able to get this entire wall finished with painting, we were also able to reorganize and really get a lot of the stuff put away. That's my biggest piece of advice when reorganizing a space: make sure that every single thing has a home. Once we hung a couple things up on the wall, we were able to create this charging station for my husband so that he can charge all his tools and batteries. And then once he got home, he helped me hang up the hooks for our beadboard wall and a little sign that I got in from Hobby Lobby. Okay, that's the end of day three. Make sure you come back for the final result tomorrow.
