Welcome to day four and our final day of finally reorganizing our garage. If you are new here, my name is Katie and I'm obsessed with all things cleaning and organizing and my garage needs some cleaning and organizing. So this is where we started and we are on the final day, so we are just finishing up all the little details. So many of you in the very first video said to paint the pegboard and honestly after cleaning it all up, it really looks good in the space. I mean yes, painting it probably would have made it look a hundred times better, but I really don't feel like it looks bad. And we're trying to do this on a $500 budget, so I only wanted to use the one gallon of paint that I'd found in my basement that I didn't even pay for. If I would have painted the pegboard then I would have had to buy another gallon of paint. Anyway, today we are finishing up this last little section of paint and when I tell you I used every single drop in that gallon, I used every single drop. As I've worked on this garage, there are a lot of tools and things that my husband has realized he wants to get rid of. So there are several things left in the garage that won't be here forever. And honestly, after everything he sold, we almost broke even. My budget was $500 for this project and I only spent $450. 200 of that was on the cabinets and the rest of it was on decor and the bins we used. Just a reminder, this is where we started and this is where we are at now. I can't believe this is even my garage. It is so clean and organized. I used the magnetic tool rack to hang up all my husband's tools. We already had the shelving unit in the house and the back door turned out perfect. The storage that we've added to this room is so functional and I am no longer embarrassed to have people go into my house through my garage. My favorite thing about this is now everything has a home and that just makes these four days of work totally worth it. Maybe eventually I'll paint the pegboard and add some more organization to my fridge, but for now I'm obsessed with how clean and organized this is. And I'm very excited that I could actually park my car in here now. And although this project is done, I'm already planning for my next one. Thank you guys so much for watching. Love you, bye.
