New letter tray! I recorded a button that says, “Feed me! I’m hungry for /m/!” so children can press it to hear the sound they’re looking for. I mixed the M and P cards in the tray, and they have to decide which ones to feed the M monster. The cards that don’t match go in a little bowl off to the side. Such a simple way to practice matching letters and listening for beginning sounds—with a hungry monster to keep it playful! You can switch out the letter badge, change the cards, and record a new sound to use it again.
