When reflux reaches your throat, it often shows up as a cough, constant throat clearing, or the feeling of mucus dripping down the back of your throat. Many people never feel the burn at all. In people whose chronic cough comes from reflux, up to 75% have no digestive symptoms. If allergy meds and nasal sprays haven't touched it, ask your doctor whether reflux could be part of the picture.
