JUST IN: The man convicted of orchestrating Tupac Shakur's 1996 murder has been sentenced to 40 years to life in prison, more than three decades after the rap legend was gunned down in Las Vegas. Duane "Keffe D" Davis, 63, was convicted after prosecutors argued he orchestrated the fatal shooting and later tried to profit from the killing by discussing his involvement in interviews and a 2019 memoir. One prosecutor told the court Davis is "guaranteed to die" behind bars, with Shakur's sister watching from the audience. Davis, the only person ever charged in the rapper's murder, spoke briefly in court, telling the judge, "No I'm good," when asked if he had anything else to say. His attorney plans to appeal the conviction.
