8 habits I swear by that took me from 190lbs to 145lbs after having babies 1. FOLLOW A PLAN. As a mom, I don’t have time to waste figuring out what to do next. I show up, follow my planned workout, and never have to guess if it’s effective or not. 2. EAT THE SAME MEALS ON REPEAT. I have 4-6 meals I LOVE and rotate through. I know they support my fitness goals and fuel my body. Plus they are easy and efficient. 3. PRIORITIZE PROTEIN. I aim for 30g of protein at least for every meal. It keeps me full, builds muscle, and supports my goals. A small habit that makes a big difference. 4. WALK!!! Stroller walks, getting outside, parking further away.. an easy form of movement that feels good and is efficient. 5. EAT ENOUGH FOOD. Especially postpartum, especially if you’re breastfeeding. Your body needs fuel, not restriction. 6. KEEP WORKOUTS SHORT AND EFFECTIVE. Your workout doesn’t need to be 1+ hours long. 30-40 minutes of intentional training is incredibly effective. 7. STOP WAITING FOR THE PERFECT TIME. Because news flash, it’s not coming. Consistency isn’t about being perfect. Show up even when you just have 15 minutes. 8. BE PATIENT. Be patient long enough to see the results. Just because you don’t see any change after 2 weeks doesn’t mean it’s not working.
