Washington, D.C., is staying up later than anywhere else in America. New Apple Watch data reveals the nation’s capital has the latest average bedtime at 11:56 p.m., followed by New York at 11:53 p.m. and Kentucky at 11:50 p.m. Meanwhile, Hawaii is calling it a night nearly 50 minutes earlier, but there’s a twist: It also records the least sleep. The study, based on nearly 17 million nights of sleep data, finds that participants average just 6 hours and 40 minutes of sleep a night, falling short of the recommended 7 to 9 hours.
