The New Kids (1985) 🎬 Lori Loughlin, Shannon Presby, and a young James Spader in one of the more unsettling teen thrillers of the 80s. After losing their parents, two siblings move to Florida to live with their aunt and uncle. But their new life takes a dark turn when they become targets of a violent group of local teenagers. James Spader is especially memorable as Dutra, the gang’s cruel and unpredictable leader. 🎬 Directed by Sean S. Cunningham, the man behind Friday the 13th (1980), the film also features an early appearance by Eric Stoltz. Part teen drama, part revenge thriller, The New Kids is a surprisingly intense little movie that deserves more attention. #TheNewKids #JamesSpader #LoriLoughlin #80sMovies #80sThriller
