Eddie and the Cruisers (1983) 🎸🎶 Michael Paré as Eddie Wilson, the mysterious frontman of a rock band whose music lives on long after his disappearance. Set against the early 60s rock 'n' roll scene, the film has everything from old recordings and lost friendships to the mystery surrounding Eddie's fate. 🎬 One of the best things about the movie is its soundtrack. The songs were actually performed by John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band, and “On the Dark Side” went on to become a huge hit. The film wasn't a success when it first came out, but found a whole new audience through cable TV and home video. A forgotten gem with some seriously good music. 🎸 #EddieAndTheCruisers #MichaelPare #80sMovies #RockNRoll #80sNostalgia #80s
