Computer science is one of the most popular majors in the US right now, and for good reason. The pay is high and the content is interesting. But it isn't all sunshine and rainbows. Here are the worst parts about being a CS major. A lot of the people suck. You're going to run into a bunch of elitists who look down on you for not chasing FAANG jobs or getting the highest grades. The majority of people are nice, but there are still a ton of annoying elitists. You'll learn to find the good people and be friends with them. You're going to develop Imposter Syndrome. You'll be dealing with smart people every day and your brain will make you feel bad about not going as fast as them or doing as well as them. You'll learn not to compare yourself. Don't let this video discourage you at all, but be prepared to deal with these problems.
