let's do a review of Toast's competitive comparison landing page against cash registers. okay so Toast is a point of sale system for restaurants. I'm sure lots of you have seen Toast devices being carried around by servers and with this landing page they're trying to convince cash register users that they should use Toast instead. okay so let's dive in. first everything above the fold looks great. very nice and simple headline and a very clever sub header here too "vintage is cool but your cash register is just old". I really like that. we keep going down you can also see customer testimonial front and center which is super important because proof points are huge when it comes to convincing someone to make a change away from a competitor and onto your product. okay let's keep going. okay so now we have this new section here which explains a very specific pain point that cash register users experience and explains how Toast can solve it which is key. right so this first section digs into the pains of making errors when a rush is taking place when you're using cash registers and to help drive this point home they have another customer proof point that you can click into right here that helps explain how they solve this specific pain point and they also have this very small feature comparison here. so this next section looks similar but digs into the pain point of perhaps multiple technologies or devices that a restaurant is juggling with so Toast is claiming that they can replace many of them while helping you continue to grow your restaurant. consolidation is a very very real and relevant play right now given how horrible the economy is right now so that's a very solid call out and then they also have another short feature comparison table and let me just dig into feature comparison tables really quick. so most companies take them way too far and they list out dozens of tiny little features that nobody really cares about they're hard to maintain from an admin perspective and most people don't even pay attention to them because it's so long but these feature comparisons they're great they're relevant to the content that they're next to and they're short so it's not like a laborious task reading through it so definitely love what they're doing here. okay let's keep going. okay so this next one here this callout is specifically around pricing. okay so it's talking about how you are going to give guests a modern order experience at a fraction of the price that big brands pay. so they're explaining how they're not as expensive as competitors and again offering a case study to show how they work with restaurants with limited budgets and we have some awards down here some other reviews great for more proof points and then reach out to a demo. okay so all in all this is a great example of a competitive comparison page that covers really all of the bases. it explains how it solves the main pain points of users that use the competitor it's short and sweet and offers a lot of proof points. very solid overall. I'd give it a 9.5 out of 10
