If you have over 100k followers and you're not securing at least $2-3k per brand deal, you're undercharging. You're entertaining brands who don't understand the value of your endorsement to pay you at least that much. Let's talk about it. If you're new here, hi, my name is Naomi. I have been in the influencer industry since 2012 as an influencer, a creator business coach, and an influencer talent manager for Boost Society. And I've helped creators generate over $1.4 million in brand deal contracts since 2021 through our programs and services, where many of them have become full-time creators and hit that 6-figure mark without a manager. It has been brought to my attention that one of the major reasons why a lot of creators can't secure a brand deal above $2,000 is because many of you are still charging $0.01 per follower, or $10 per 1,000 followers. It's a wonder why you can't make a 5-figure month. So if you're still charging this way and you've been trying to level up your brand deal income, this is a huge problem and you need to fix it. Let's do a little history lesson. I don't know if you guys know this, but this $0.01 per follower baseline is over 15 years old. And because the industry was still so new at the time, brands only worked with influencers based on followers and nothing else. Most of these brands didn't project social media marketing to replace TV, magazines, billboards. But because this information has been on the internet for so long, many brands choose not to update their brand deal offers based on the raised value influencers and creators have on digital marketing, or even rate calculators that use this standard that continues to perpetuate the idea that an influencer's worth should only be measured by followers and engagement. And you guys know this, we are more than followers and engagement. There's a lot of work and investment that happens beneath the surface that should be accounted for. So let me ask you this, with this $0.01 per follower rate that you're charging, does it include your years of experience in the influencer industry? Your expertise in your niche? Maybe you're a lawyer or a doctor? The skillset you've developed and invested in improving? To create better? Nurture a community better? To convert? To be on the cutting edge of trends? How about the time you spend creating the concept? Producing? Editing? Rework? How about the expenses of being a creator? For example, if you have to travel, do you pay for that gas out of pocket? Being a creator is no longer about just followers anymore, and a $0.01 per follower doesn't cover your value as the talent. This is literally one of the first things that creators that I've helped inside the SponMaster get super excited to tell me about after they enroll, that they didn't realize how low they've been charging this whole time. This creator used to charge $650 before she found out she should be charging $4,000. This other creator was charging $500 to $1,000 for a Reel when she was supposed to be charging $3,000. This is just their base rates, y'all. We're not even talking about usage, exclusivity, or even how to navigate that money conversation when you're negotiating. I walk you through step by step until you master it and make those responses your own. So if you're a creator/influencer, especially if you have over 100,000 followers and you can't break $2,000-$3,000 in a brand deal, let's level up your brand deal game inside the SponMaster.
