I think we need to start considering layoffs at our tech company. Hmm why? We're getting pressure from shareholders to keep increasing profit. Always. Rising interest rates are increasing our costs of borrowing money and refinancing our loans and all of our other costs are increasing due to inflation and we just didn't budget for all of this and we're worried. We think that we should probably reduce our risk, especially if we might be heading into a recession. Eh I'm not convinced. And I think we messed up. We hired a ton of people a few years ago but we're just not growing at the same rate anymore. Most of our customers are also reducing their spending due to the economic environment and our revenue just isn't the same. That's true. There's also been a lot of discussion in the US over changing our tax code and how we treat R&D expenses and us as a tech company had invested a lot into experimental areas that aren't making us a lot of profit right now and we're honestly not sure when they would maybe anything else to really convince me. Some of our junior employees are filming one minute day in the life videos. Okay yeah lay offs now.
