The steepest hills of San Francisco

The steepest hills of San Francisco. Coming in at number nine is 22nd Street between Vicksburg and Church at a 31.5% grade. We're going to go all the way up. It's a good workout. It builds character and it builds booties. We're now at Baden Street above Mangels and Glen Park and it's the fifth steepest street in San Francisco at a 34% grade. Even getting to these hills, you have to walk up very steep hills, but they just don't crack the list. While searching for San Francisco's steepest streets, it's no surprise that we ended up in Bernal for many of them. This is Prentiss Street below Chapman Street at number three and a 37% grade. At number four, still in Bernal, we have Nevada above Chapman Street at 35% grade. The good thing about climbing all these hills is we've gotten some really great views today. At number six, we have Ripley between Peralta and Alabama. We're still in Bernal and it's a 31.5% grade. San Francisco has a lot of steep streets, but if you want to find the steepest street in San Francisco, you'll have to come to Bernal. Bradford above Tompkins Street is a 41% grade. Personally, as a San Franciscan, I love the hills.
