Hold for 2x I need to get serious for a second I need to set the record straight I am a software engineer look into my eyes I'm dead inside how do you think I got that way I've been in the trenches do you think anyone could know exactly how stupid engineers are without living it themselves I've done my time I've spent hours debugging a problem only to realize I was on the wrong branch I personally experienced the joy of fixing one thing and breaking five others tracking down the culprit of some bug only to realize the culprit was past me and on maybe one or two occasions I'll admit that I ship some stuff without proper documentation besides I much prefer to write the code that causes bugs than to schedule meetings about them
