I'm not normally so like shook with the new AI feature but consider me shooken. Google has added this beta feature to its Podcast Generator and it is so cool and weird um you can interact with the podcast. So I'm gonna show you it and then we're gonna talk about its implications. So as a little refresher Google Notebook LM is where you can add in research you can put in a link, it'll compile the information and then if you click Audio Overview it will generate a two person conversational podcast for you. But what's new is this interactive mode button. Alright we're going in. So as we play the podcast I can hit join and I can jump in and add to the conversation at any time. And I just inputted a Wikipedia link about nuclear energy. Alright welcome back it looks like we're diving deep into nuclear power this time. Yeah you guys done a ton of research on this one. So they go into talking about the Manhattan Project yada yada yada. Connection to weapons is definitely shaped how people view nuclear energy. Hmm hmm. Even though the technology Oh wait. So what was the joint? Hey go for it. Hey thank you um so that's a good point about the Manhattan Project kind of giving nuclear energy a bad rap. Do you think that it's starting to change now? Hey that's a great question and thanks for chiming in. It's true the association with the Manhattan Project definitely cast a long shadow. I mean that was the start of it all right this super powerful almost scary technology. You get the vibe but isn't that crazy? I was playing with this earlier today and the podcast itself was so engaging and then the fact that I could actually like ask questions about parts that I was interested in was really cool. So what does this mean for marketing and content? Well in a very near future you can have a podcast and have co hosts that are AI avatars and have a lovely lively conversation. You can also have AI avatars be the typical host and then actually have guests that are humans and real people on the show. This is crazy from the scalability and content perspective. And this also makes me think of this notion that was said a while back is that with this age of AI content is changing from a monologue where it's all of these companies and people talking at you at you to becoming a dialogue and this is an example of that. You can have a podcast where the user not just listens to it but can talk to it. That's incredible. This is still very beta you have like no controls or levers on it um but it's really interesting to play with it is free check it out.
