You want to know the truth about the insurance industry? It freaking sucks. Year one, you're going to feel broke, you're going to feel like no one's supporting you, you're going to feel like leads are just ghosting you, and you can't make any money starting out. You're going to feel like nothing is going right, everything that could go wrong is going wrong, and you're going to feel at some point, you're going to feel like quitting. Any of the agents in your organization that you look up to and you consider a mentor have already gone through this and made it out on the other side. Because every successful agent has struggled in the past. They've all, every single person has gone through year one and not known if it's going to work out for them. And that's just the ugly truth about this industry. It is so hard to get started, but the light at the end of the tunnel keeps getting bigger every single year you stay in the business. You can't quit when you feel like it's not going right and it's never going to work out for you. You can't do that, you can't feed into that energy. You need to push through, you need to stick true to why you got into the business and you need to learn from your mentors and remember that, hey, it's going to be okay if I just don't quit. I'm eventually going to make it.
