I can't keep calm, my best friend just got married and as matron of honor to my good sis honey, a friendship of 19 years, you know I had to show up and show out for my girl. This was the best wedding I've ever been to and will forever be a core memory. But let's start with the day before I flew out. I'm so last minute. I leave everything to the last minute, but things always work out for me. I went to pick up the wedding menus and the welcome leaflets. Then I go and do my hair with Get Pony. You guys saw how she absolutely slayed my birthday hair, so I had to go to her as matron of honor to make sure that my bridal hair style was 10/10. And it was. I landed in Marrakech, Morocco, the next day at around 4 PM. I think this is where the wedding is taking place. And I got ready for dinner and drinks with some of the bridesmaids. We stayed in a hotel for one night because we were checking into the wedding villa the next day. The hotel was really nice. I can't remember the name, but it was so good. I'll leave the name below. The concierge got me a taxi and we headed over to Buddha Bar in Marrakech. This is like my third time going to Buddha Bar in Marrakech and I just love it. The food is nice, the entertainment is really good. It's so fun and lively in there. They literally perform like they give their heart and soul into every performance. It's so fun. Here are the gorgeous girlies, our bridesmaids. We had such a good time. The food was nice. I got the butter chicken, which is an Indian dish, with sushi and prawns. And I think I got one more thing. I was acting big backed that day. The next day we all made our way to the villa, the bridesmaids and groomsmen. This is the venue where the wedding will be taking place and also where we stayed. It was just so beautiful, so scenic, amazing. This was also the day of the welcome party in Nobu Marrakech. The bride and groom booked it out for the welcome party and it was so fun. For that, we had to assume official bridal duties. We had rehearsals, the reception entrance, which was really nice. Then we chilled and all got ready for the welcome party. I've been doing Honey's makeup since I was 16. Fun fact, she was my first makeup client. So it was an honor to be able to do her makeup for one of her wedding events. Then we were all ready. And this is us all ready. And then we just chilled, and then we got into our transfers to go to Nobu. Everyone was looking fly. Everyone was looking good. And then we got into our transfers and headed off. And this is the location of the party that we all filed in. And the bride and groom made their entrance, which was really nice. And this party was so good. The food was good, the vibes were there, the drinks were flowing. Everybody was absolutely lit. The DJ was playing good songs and it just made us all excited for the next day, which was the wedding. Now looking back on this footage, I don't know why we were going so hard when we knew we had to be up early the next day, but it was such a good time. Honey, my girl, dancing with Fay, she's dancing bride, as usual, giving us those killer shoulders. Honey and her workmates, we literally danced all night. And we were just so juiced. But stay tuned for the wedding day. Honey, my girl, dancing with Fay, she's dancing bride, as usual, giving us those killer shoulders. Honey and her workmates, we literally danced all night.
